There are few first names that conjure up a distinct story and image in our collective minds, but one of those names is Samson. Many of us have heard about Samson since we were little kids, but do we really know the story?

The story of Samson is an unusual story about a man, chosen from birth to be a savior, who is consumed by his own desires and personal shortcomings. In reality, the story we awed at as children is a tragedy marked by “what could have been”. My prayer is that, as we study Samson, we would see the consequences of living an “unhealthy” spiritual and life and would run to true Savior.
